Bristol Zoo is a great place to volunteer; why not join over 250 volunteers involved in a diverse variety of roles around the Zoo.
By joining us you can become an important part of our zoo team, learn new skills, meet new people and support us in saving wildlife together.
If you can spare at least half a day a week and you live close to Bristol Zoo*, we would love to hear from you.
All we ask is that you are available during school holidays and can be with us for at least six months.
You need to be aged 18 or over (16 or over for Keeper volunteer roles) and there’s no upper age limit. References may be applied for.
If you’d like to know more, and would like to apply, please take a look at our volunteer roles. Please note that the Volunteer Mammals Keeper scheme is very popular and so spaces are very limited. If you are not successful for this role, please feel free to consider our other available roles.

*Bristol Zoo Gardens falls within a residents parking zone that will be coming into force on 16th March 2015. We encourage all of our employees and volunteers to use sustainable ways of getting to work. Please research these before applying for any of our vacancies. There will be no car parking facilities on site available for the first six months of volunteering. A limited number of spaces are available after that, subject to application, with no guarantee. Please visit www.travelinesw.com to plan your journey.
