Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He most recently starred in BBC America’s Almost Royal, a “cult US hit” (The Independent), which is soon returning to the screens for a second season. Ed has appeared on some of the UK’s most popular TV Shows: Mock the Week (BBC Two), Man Down (Channel 4), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Two), as well as presenting radio shows for BBC Radio One and BBC Radio Four. He won the prestigious Chortle award for Best Compere in 2014.

Rose has written, produced and starred in New Zealand’s TV3 comedy Funny Girls, a six part TV sketch series featuring a team of talented female writers and performers. Rose has just finished serving as head writer for the show’s second season, which is currently airing.

In 2016, Rose has been nominated for Best Newcomer at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and also made her Edinburgh debut this year with her show Finally Dead, which enjoyed success from both audiences and critics. The Guardian described it as “an emphatic start to Matafeo’s fringe career”.

Matt Forde

Matt Forde is one of the country’s most in-demand satirists, and most recently launched his own political comedy show, Unspun with Matt Forde on DAVE. Matt was joined each week by MP4, a rock band made up of actual politicians, with the show recorded the day before broadcast in front of a live studio audience featuring up-to-the-minute topical material on that week’s current affairs, comedian correspondents from around the world, and weekly interviews with leading political figures.Matt has also appeared on The Royal Variety Performance 2015, Have I Got News For You (BBC One)Rory Bremner’s Coalition and Election Reports (both BBC Two)Mock the Week (BBC2 Two)8 out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Celebrity 15-to-   1 (Channel 4), Celebrity Pointless (BBC1), Question Time(BBC One)This Week (BBC One) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three)

Steve Bugeja

Steve Bugeja was crowned the 2013 BBC Radio New Comedy Award winner. His 2015 debut solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe Day Release was met with rave reviews, described as “drum-tight, as if polished by a sitcom writers’ room to cram as many jokes in as humanly possible” (Chortle). It went on for a run at Soho Theatre in 2016. He followed this up in 2016 with an equally critically acclaimed Edinburgh show entitled Unpronounceable.

Steve has appeared as a guest stand up on Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) and on Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC). He wrote and performed in his own sketch 10 Things You Should Know As An Adult for BBC3 and starred in a viral comedy video for Lucozade alongside England footballer Harry Kane.

Harry and Chris

Having played together in various forms for over 10 years, World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker teams up with BFF/Jazz Musician Chris Read as the imaginatively titled ‘Harry and Chris’. After a debut sell-out run of ‘The Harry and Chris Show’ at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016, they are bringing their brand of poetry, music, love and laughter all around the country.

Mark Olver - Compere

Mark Olver is a stand-up comedian and televison warm-up artist. His television warm-up credits include Vicar of Dibley, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 10 o'clock Live, Jonathon Ross, Have I Got News For You and Deal or No Deal.
