We have two cameras, one overlooking Gorilla Island and one inside the gorilla house, so you can watch our gorilla family play, sleep and feed at any time, night or day.Gorilla Island is home to six western lowland gorillas; Jock, Salome, Romina, Kera, Namoki and Komale

2009 – Year of the Gorilla campaign

For 2009 Bristol Zoo Gardens is taking part in the ‘Year of the gorilla’ campaign. Its aim is to raise awareness and funds for these critically endangered animals. We will be holding events and activities throughout the year in support of this.
