Bristol Zoo Gardens has launched a fantastic child-goes-free offer for this summer.
It means that for every paying adult, a child can visit the Clifton-based attraction free of charge, throughout August.
Visitors can see more than 400 different animal species from around the world – from lions, lemurs and lizards, to penguins, primates and pandas. And don’t forget to visit the gorilla family and their two babies – three month old Ayana and 18 month old Afia.
And if that’s not enough, Bristol Zoo is currently home to 11 amazing animatronic dinosaurs – which move, hiss, roar and even spray water at unsuspecting visitors. The prehistoric exhibition, called Dinomania, is free with Zoo admission and is on daily until September 3rd.
There is also a range of animal talks every day as well as Amazing Animal shows and daily Animal Encounters sessions, allowing visitors to get up-close to some of the Zoo’s smaller inhabitants.
The newly-refurbished playground features a large new sandpit and timber play equipment, and the Zoo’s high-level ropes course, ZooRopia, has been revamped for summer. The Splash water-play zone also offers younger guests the chance to splash about and cool off.
A range of delicious hot and cold food, cakes, snacks and drinks are available in the newly-opened Hide café restaurant which seats up to 300 guests. Additional food outlets are also available around the Zoo.
And there are the Zoo’s glorious 12-acre botanical gardens with plants and flowers in full-bloom.
Bristol Zoo’s director of commercial operations Wendy Walton said: “Our child-goes-free offer gives families everywhere the chance to come along to Bristol Zoo and enjoy a fantastic day out this summer, and create memories that last a lifetime.”
Wendy added: “The offer is open to all grown-ups. So whether it’s mum, dad, aunty, uncle or grandparents, they can each bring a child-for-free. The Zoo is looking truly fantastic this summer and our amazing animatronic dinosaurs are a huge hit. A visit to Bristol Zoo really is a wonderful day out and one our guests remember forever.”
Children can visit Bristol Zoo for free with a paying adult from now until Sunday September 3 with a completed entry voucher. To download your entry voucher, visit http://www.dinomania.org.uk/assets/Child-Goes-Free_Dino-Voucher.pdf
