We're planning a host of great events and activities for groups throughout 2013. All events planned will be added to this page soon.

Get interactive with animals

Make the most of your visit and book an education session of interactive animal-focused activity. We have lots of education sessions to choose from, including:

• Polar Experience:Learn what amazing things animals do to survive in the cold and meet our polar explorer in the Polar Research Base.
• Nocturnal by Nature: Learn how animals have adapted to life in the dark. Also, use your senses and take the blindfold test!

£42 per group. Pre-bookings only. Sessions run until spring 2013

Indoor Picnicking

Don’t eat your lunch in the cold... reserve your seats and warm up in our party room. This is available from 1 November 2012 until 22 March 2013 at 11:00am, 12:00pm and 1:00pm.

Limited capacity, subject to availability. Pre-booking only. £10 charge per session.
