Activity Centre
Our activity centre is run by volunteers and gives visitors the chance to enjoy some ‘hands-on’ activities at the same time as learning about the zoo and its animal inhabitants.
There are lots of fun things to do for big and small kids alike. They include:
• face-painting
• brass-rubbing
• drawing and colouring
• badge-making
• bead-making
• tattoos
• card-making
There is also a ‘touch table’, where you can learn about our conservation efforts, and a small retail area where you can buy activity-based products to continue the learning and fun at home.
