Duration: 45 minutes for EYFS; 55 minutes for KS1 – KS3; 55 minutes or longer for 14-19

Session price: £48.00 (please note that this does not include admission to the Zoo - for more pricing information please click here).

Free Child Return Tickets: From July 2018, every child attending an Education Session at the zoo will be given a free ticket to return again!  Each ticket will be valid for one free child entry. Child must be accompanied by a full paying adult when they return to qualify.

Max number of students: We can accommodate up to 30 students aged 3- 14 and up to 25 students aged 14+ per session

Additional informationClassrooms: We will use one of our themed classrooms to create an exciting learning environment, sometimes with sound effects. Animals: live animals that can be held, touched or viewed at very close quarters are used in all sessions.  Animals include reptiles, mammals and invertebrates. Biofacts: We also use items such as skins, furs, tusks, horns, shells and mounted specimens. Multimedia: Short film clips are often shown to support your chosen topic.

Our classrooms are accessible to wheelchair users; please let us know when booking if any of the students in your group will be using wheelchairs. There are disabled toilets in the Conservation Education Centre, and accessible toilets at various points around the Zoo; we have changing facilities available in the toilets nearest the Butterfly House. We welcome groups with additional needs; please contact us so that we can discuss which session would be most appropriate, and the needs of your group.
