Contracted Hours: 37.5 hour per week (would consider part time, minimum 22.5 hours)

We are looking for a Legal Administrator to provide legal, clerical and administrative support to members of the Executive Board.
The successful candidate will assist the Director of Finance and Corporate Services in the preparation of company secretarial information, including reporting to the Charity Commission; the Society’s insurers and the Society’s pension advisors. A legal background would be useful as the role involves the review of contracts held by the Society and also oversight of the Society’s GDPR processes.
You must have a keen eye for detail, manage own work flows and the ability to work well under pressure and be able to meet key deadlines. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint is also essential. The Society will be migrating to Office 365 and so a working knowledge of this is preferred, as this is an opportunity for the successful candidate to be the Society champion helping to set up processes and efficient ways of working.
The ability to communicate, engage with, and form good working relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders is integral to this role. The successful candidate will be able to communicate confidently with staff of all levels and external stakeholders, in an appropriate and approachable manner using both written and oral communication.
