This heart melting picture of a mother crowned lemur and her baby has won Jenny Scully of Bristol Zoo Gardens a national award.
Jenny’s photo, which she called Crowned Cuddle, shows the pair wrapped up like a roly-poly.
It was voted runner-up in the capturing hearts and minds section of the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) annual photographic awards.
Jenny, Bristol Zoo’s data and insight manager, took the picture with a Nikon D3200 camera and a Tamron LD Di macro 70-300mm lens.
She said: “I was in the lemur walk through and looked up to see this heart melting moment of mum and baby together.
“I’ve never seen anything like it before, it was a chance in a million and I was thrilled to see it and be able to take a picture of it.”
