To help our site continue to develop, we are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to join our Wild Place team.
As a Maintenance Manager and part of the operations team, you will have a proactive, hands on approach to operational tasks and be able to problem solve and supervise a team.

We are seeking a self-motivated person who will have a keen eye for detail and possess impeccable working standards. You will have a trade background, ideally from a similar role in property maintenance and have experience of managing a small team. In-depth knowledge in joinery, plumbing, building and electrical work is essential.
Applicants must have a friendly, professional manner and be ready to welcome guests to the attraction and help to inspire them with discoveries of wild life and our onsite activities. This is a multi-faceted role working as part of the maintenance and operational team at a constantly developing wildlife attraction.
All applicants must enjoy working outdoors whatever the weather, and be willing to support the team in extra duties. It is also essential that you are confident and courteous with guest interaction. Experience of managing a maintenance team and working in a guest facing environment is desirable as is a recognised trade qualification.
An understanding of conservation would be desirable, however we believe your passion will become as great as ours on your journey with us
Flexibility is required as Wild Place Project operates for 364/5 days and you will be working as part of a departmental rota which includes weekends and Bank Holidays. Our operational hours also vary in summer/winter.
