An opportunity has arisen to join the Guest Services Team of Bristol Zoological Society at an exciting time in our 180 year history.

Bristol Zoological Society is a conservation and education charity, which runs and operates Bristol Zoo Gardens and Wild Place Project. We save wildlife together, through conservation science research, working to protect species and habitat’s overseas, encouraging sustainable behaviours and perceptions, educating tomorrow’s wildlife warriors and giving families a great day out.

We’re looking for a Guest Service Manager to join the team and lead the operational delivery of our busy year round programme of events. You’ll also be one of the GSM team providing daily management support to our site services team on-site at the Zoo and so you’ll need to be passionate about providing a great guest experience and be able to inspire those around you.

If you would like to support our mission and can demonstrate a proven track record of operational management within a large visitor attraction or similar we would like to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of event organisation, guest services and proven experience in providing excellent customer service.  They will also have excellent interpersonal/communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and staff in a confident and friendly manner.

The position is full time, working 37.5 hours per week as part of the departmental 7 day rota, which will include weekends, Bank Holidays, and occasional evenings.
