Wild Place Project is a beautiful and rapidly expanding part of Bristol Zoological Society.
We are extremely proud of our brand and rely on our knowledgeable and dedicated staff to promote our commitment to providing a sustainable future for wildlife and people. It takes hard work, passion and a real sense of community to ensure the success of our attractions, as well as providing a memorable experience for all of our guests.
Launching in July 2017 our new luxury glamping site will be opening and we are looking for dynamic staff to be a part of this new development.
For each of the roles you are the primary point of contact for our guests and we rely on you to:
· Demonstrate your passion and pride as an ambassador for our well-loved organisation and conservation efforts and mission.
· Engage and assist our guests to ensure they have a memorable stay in our glamping site.
· Deliver exceptional experiences to our guests in native wildlife and the parks animals.
As a Camp Baboon Night Host, in addition to the core responsibilities you will also assist guests with any requirements during evening and night hours.
As a Camp Baboon Supervisor, in addition to the above responsibilities you will also be responsible for the daily running of Camp Baboon including staff rotas and routines.
All applicants must have a friendly, professional manner and be ready to welcome guests to the attraction and inspire them with discoveries of wildlife and our onsite activities. These are multi-faceted roles working as part of the Guest Services Team at a constantly developing wildlife attraction.
You must enjoy working outdoors whatever the weather, and be willing to support the team in extra duties. It is also essential that you are confident and courteous with guest interaction. An understanding of conservation and native species would be desirable, however we believe your passion will become as great as ours on your journey with us.
Flexibility is required as Wild Place Project operates for 364/5 days and you will be working as part of a departmental rota which includes weekends and Bank Holidays.
To apply for these positions please email a covering letter and CV to email@example.com clearly marking your application with “Camp Baboon” or “Camp Baboon Night Host” along with your name.
The closing date for all applications is 1st May 2017 with interviews taking place week commencing 15th May 2017
