Activity Centre

The Activity Centre is run by Volunteers and gives visitors the chance to enjoy some ‘hands-on’ activities and to find out more about the Zoo and its animal inhabitants.

There are fun things to do for big and small kids alike, including:

• Face-painting
• Brass-rubbing
• Drawing and colouring-in
• Badge-making
• Touch table
• Bead-making
• Tattoos
• Card-making

We have a touch table, where you can learn about our conservation efforts. We also have a small retail area where you can purchase activity-based merchandise to continue learning and having fun at home.
