Wildlife Conservation Evening Classes

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at Bristol Zoo? Bristol Zoo’s new Wildlife Conservation evening course will answer all your questions.

A variety of Bristol Zoo professionals including education, research, veterinary and keeping staff will deliver the course, and there will be the opportunity to get up close to some unique zoo resources, including some living ones!

Some of the topics we’ll be investigating are:

  • Conservation issues, challenges and breeding
  • Customs and confiscation
  • Human-wildlife interactions
  • Animal health
  • Education, learning and behaviour change
  • UK native species, invasive species and urban wildlife.

8 week course 19th January 2017 – 17th March 2017

1 week break for half term – 16th February 2017
