Bristol Zoo Gardens employs around 166 staff across departments including Animals, Veterinary Services, Gardens, Education, Graphics, Maintenance, Administration, First Aid, Volunteers, Marketing, Fundraising/Development, Conservation Programmes, Special Projects and Visitors Services, which includes Retail, Catering, Car Parks, and Amenities.
Bristol Zoo Gardens also has a team of over 100 Volunteers who run the Activity Centre, and Animal Encounter Sessions and often take animals out into the community through Animal Outreaches.
