Unique Valentine’s gift ideas from Bristol Zoo Gardens

Love is all around at Bristol Zoo Gardens this month in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

From the sweet song of the lovebirds to the striking colours of the love beetle, Bristol Zoo has plenty to offer the Valentine’s visitor.

And with more than 450 species at home in the Zoo, there are always a few animal lovers to meet. From Biggie and Twiggy the giant tortoises to Jock the silverback gorilla and his two females, Romina and Salome - animal passion is always in the air!

And for a Valentine’s gift with a difference, why not adopt an animal for your loved one? So if you’re batty about your boyfriend, why not adopt him a Livingstone’s fruit bat? Or how about a cheeky monkey for your cheeky monkey, or even a love bird or a bleeding heart dove?

Other gift ideas include a day ticket to the Zoo or an annual membership which allows you to visit the Zoo as often as you like, while helping support the Zoo's charitable conservation and education work.

For more information about adopting an animal or giving an annual membership as a gift, visit www.bristolzoo.org.uk/unique-gifts or phone 0117 974 7300.
