Fundraising ideas

Trends suggest that all great ape species could become extinct in the wild in the 21st century, and some even within a few decades. To raise awareness of this crisis and to raise vital funds to help fight it, Bristol Zoo is participating in the world-wide Year of the Gorilla Campaign.

We are looking for people to sign up and run the Bristol Half Marathon in aid of Year of the Gorilla – email ljones [at] bristolzoo [dot] org [dot] uk or call 0117 974 7329 to find out more!

Organise a Year of the Gorilla event
Why not host a Gorilla party at you own Gorilla Island? Get your colleagues, community group or family to participate.

Dress Down Day
Hold a Dress Down Day in you office or at your school.

Leave a gift in your will
Making a Will is an important way to ensure that your loved ones have a secure future. Leaving Bristol Zoo Gardens a gift in your Will is an excellent way to contribute to the conservation of endangered animals and habitats.
