Conservation campaigns
Bristol Zoo Gardens is involved in a number of campaigns that highlight conservation issues. All the campaigns give visitors the opportunity to get involved.
- Bristol Zoo Gardens supports the work of Ape Action Africa (formerly known as CWAF) on various aspects of the bushmeat trade.
- We support the work of Sanccob in South Africa, which rehabilitates penguins and other seabirds in the wild.
- The Zoo also supports The Lion Tamarin of Brazil Fund which is protecting the habitiat of tamarins and breeding animals for reintroduction.
