Bristol Zoo Gardens

Animal care & welfare

At Bristol Zoo Gardens we strive for the highest standards of animal care and welfare. This means ensuring that the animals here can behave normally as well as remain healthy. For many of them we have behaviour enrichment programmes to help prevent them from becoming bored. For example, instead of being fed from a bowl the monkeys have to work out how to get their food from puzzle feeders.
